Not sure what to say?

Shirley, David and Daniel,
It was an honor to have known Dave. I remember most his smile--a smile and a gentle spirit that made you feel that this was as close as one could get to looking at the face of God. He had a kind word and a quick explanation for any question you had about the Bible. There is a hole in the universe right now without him, but he will live forever in your hearts. My deepest sympathy.

Shirley, David, and Daniel:
I have had 3 spiritual mentors in my life, people the Lord has used in a significant way in my walk with Him; Dave was one of those 3. Dave was the one He used in the most mighty of ways in my UNDERSTANDING, knowing, embracing, trusing, and walking with the Lord. Without Dave and yourself Shirley, my walk with the Lord would not be were it is today. I praise His awesome name for letting all of you be a part of my life. My life has been so very blessed by...

Shirley and sons; I haven't seen David for a long time, but I want you to know, that Dave was one of the most wonderful man I have ever had the pleasure to know! Years ago, I was talking about a prayer I wanted to get a copy of! Dave asked me to write the prayer down for him! 5 days later, he showed up at my door, and handed me the Prayer on a piece of parched paper, and written in calligraphy that he had written himself by hand!! I still have that prayer on my wall, and always think of him...

Dear Shieley and sons; I haven't seen Dave for a long time but I too remember him playing drums at Salt and Light years ago. I know it's been a long hard battle but he ran a good race and won in the end. God bless all those he left behind.

Dave was always so helpful when I started at A.E. as a cutter grinder in 1969. He never minded my interrupting his work to ask how to do something on my new job. He had an infectious sense of humor. I never forgot how highly he spoke of his wife and family.
Sincerely
Rpger A. Hartman
