Not sure what to say?

An ORU classmate and my most enjoyable roommate the summer after we graduated. Life is fast but I'm thankful for folks like David that I got to spend time with along the way.

David was such a good man, and always had a laugh or a kind word for others. Deeply sorry to hear of his passing. Deepest sympathies to his family.

Not many people could ride a Vespa, wear a mini-helmet and gloves, and still look cool. You somehow did, though.

You were a good guy.

Heaven's gain is our loss.

We spent a day in Mauritius with David and Flint. 'Nuff said. I'll hold on to that. Prayers for David's loved ones.

David's life spoke volumes about love, respect and faith. Always pleasant, David was neither chatty nor verbose. A man of few words, actually. A special trait for someone who made a career crafting them. We are all better for having known him as a friend.

The Woods family send their condolences. Jesus words at John 17:3 gives hope and comfort to us all.

So sorry to hear that you left us to early. I knew in high school that you were very creative and that you would do well. You made us proud.

David and I met at our very first ad agency jobs back in 1982 and he became one of my oldest and dearest friends. I can attest to the truth in all that has been written about him. His faith in God carried him through many trials, even his most recent. I will miss him greatly and be praying for his family.
