Dave has touched the lives of many people in the racing community and I for one am one of the lucky ones to have had the pleasure of knowing him. He would drop what he was doing just to stop and help anyone that was in need of help inside or outside of the tracks. I am so sorry for your loss, and I know it is never easy losing someone so close to your heart. He will be missed by many, many people. Godspeed Dave Cushman. You will not be forgotten.

Dear Family ,

I was very surprised and sad about the passing of David. He was close to my brother,Greg H. and they kept in touch over the years. I hadn't seen Dave for years but remember the good times when he lived next door to us in Schuyler Lake!
My heart felt sympathy goes out to all you family members, especially the children of Dave's! I know what that loss can feel like because my children just lost their father/grandfather a year ago!
