I remember when this new family moved in across from me and out came Dave to do morning walk.He waved and went on his way. I though, wow! he did not stop by, but i am going to see how long this will go on for. Next morning, out came Dave to walk and he came over but did not do an introduction, but started with jokes. He kept me laughing, and so it went on for all his years as my neighbor in Sarasota. I miss seeing him and to get my morning jokes. Gone but not forgotten..Jean i will have to...

"Uncle Dave", was my biggest supporter and fan.

Remembering all the great times working at Daanes. My husband Steve,who then was just a young man flirting with a young cashier, was approached by Dave. He said "if you aren't buying anything then get out of here". Business was business, but we had lots of laughs outside of work. Uncle Dave is fondly remembered for all the good times we had. My sympathies to Aunt Jean and all the family.
