To the family of AD1 (AW) David Dake, I'm Command Master Chief(AW/MTS), Retired, Pat Wright, from Heflin. I learned of David's passing thru my Brother in Law, Ray Holley who works at Drydens Funeral Home. My whole career was at NAS JAX,and Mayport. Looking at David's Naval time line, we may have met, but it's unlikely we would of remembered each other ( I've been retired several years now, and young Sailors avoid Master Chiefs)! My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
