I remember him as an itinerant physical education teacher from South Side Elementary School back in the 60s. Tall and stern-faced, he took the boys while jolly Mrs. Lunceford took the girls. Requiescat In Pace Sir.

As a fellow teacher, I knew David from Liberty Bell. He was a very congenial person. We talked cars and about driving in the snow. I also knew his wife Doris and I had the privilege of working with two of their children in Odyssey of the Mind (creative problem solving). My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. May God bless and keep you and give you strength in this difficult time.
