Not sure what to say?

He was a sweet soul and a great friend. I will never forget that smile and the love he showed my children. Till we meet again Mr Dawson.... Yes I know, Dave.

I have a beautiful Japanese Maple Tree that (Jerry as called by family) David planted in my front yard many years ago and he also planted groves of Douglas Fir trees on both sides of our house. I feel surrounded by his great love of nature and his family.

David is my brother I have cancer he came visit me every day he was cool I will miss him we both like the radio classic shows like the shadow and more he was very knowledge able about computers I was said Jerome was a cool name.

David was my neighbor and friend since 1995. I always felt his presence as a great source of safety and comfort. He was like a rock to me and I'll miss him terribly. Never thought living up here would be without his friendly smile, deep bass voice and helpful concern for not only myself, but all of us on this hill. He didn't ever speak much about himself and I've learned many things I didn't know just by reading his Obituary that I wish I had known over all of these years. My condolences...

I went to Highland Grade School with David; from Miss Nielsen's third grade class through 8th grade with Mr. Sacomano's class. David was a boy and I was a girl; in those days, boys and girls didn't get to know each other very well. But I remember him as someone who was nice to everyone, and his more current pictures and story make him look as if he stayed that way. I remember his twin sister Donna was in the other 8th grade class and I saw her obituary some time ago.

David was a wonderful, loving friend. I will miss him so much.

David was a good one and I was blessed to have known him .. I first saw him in about 1978 hauling some rock with his dump truck for Harold Kraemer .. later he went to work with my Dad Tom at Wilco and my Dad appreciated him a great deal .. in the last few years I was lucky enough to bump into him from time to time on Tuesdays at mcdonalds in Woodburn .. Thanks David.

Dear Dawson Family:
I am truly sorry for your loss of David. May the peace of God be with your family during this most difficult time.
2 Corith. 1:3,4

I had been thinking of Mr. Dawson just a few days before I learn of his passing. It would take for ever to let you know how my family felt about him. As a co-worker all my respect as a friend all my respect and admiration.
