I had the pleasure to work with Dave in Human Resources for numerous years and wanted to share how he regularly blessed us with his wit and humor. I will keep him and his family and friends in my prayers.

A UM colleague

In my experiences with David, what I most remember about him, and admired, what his ability to be an active part of a social gathering without ever imposing himself. To me, that's true humility. He would listen attentively, visibly enjoy himself, and yet serve those around him. Of one-on-one conversations with David, I had few. But the ones I had were always refreshing.
