Not sure what to say?

Dave was the consummate professional - always thoughtful, thought provoking, and kind-hearted. I don't think he had a mean bone in his body.

Dave was the same way in life, never confusing who he was with what he did for a living.

The world has lost a really good person who contributed much to my life, as well as, many others.

Jan,
I am at a loss of words to describe how sad I was to hear about Dave. I remember how much fun the two of you were having at the SHRM conference in DC this past summer. I could tell you were best friends, and nothing beats a best friend. I know you will always cherish the good time you had with him, althouth it was much too brief. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I wish I could give you a great big hug. Just know that I am thinking of you.

Jan,

So sorry to hear the news today and it is hard to comprehend the shock of your sudden loss. Dave was very blessed to have you in his life, as is everyone that meets you. I have you in my thoughts and prayers. With my heartfelt sympathy,

Jan,
I knew and worked with Dave when he was with Cadmus. He was a wonderful mentor and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow.

Dear Jan and Family,
I am very sorry for your loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jan,

Please accept my deepest sympathy at Dave's passing.
Dave and I worked together in contract negotiations while working in the Buildings Division of Butler Manufacturing. I always found Dave to be professional, had a good sense of humor and someone who was fun to work with.

Dear Jan:

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Dave in 1980 when I was hired with Butler Manufacturing Company and had the priviledge of working with Dave for his Butler years. He was a great guy!
