Not sure what to say?

It was very sad to hear of the passing of David Derzon who was a good friend and a great numismatist. We have known David for many years and visited him at the coin store many times when we lived in Milwaukee. We always found him to be friendly and honest. He always had a smile on his face and a cordial greeting when our paths crossed. We will miss him and want to give our sympathy and condolences to his family. Sincerely, John and Nancy Wilson, Ocala, FL

It's so hard to think about what to write here... to somehow sum up a person's entire life within the limits of not only words.. but of a mere paragraph. Uncle Dave was so much to so many people. He will always be remembered for his intelligence, clever sense of humor, and his kindness. I'll always remember his smile and remember seeing him take his last dance with his sister, who just passed away a couple months before him. I imagine them together now, happy and cancer-free, watching...

Aside from being the consummate businessman, he was always a gentleman, a teacher, and above all, a friend. We will miss him deeply.

I enjoyed many evenings talking about everything when I lived in the same building as David. I loved listening to David's stories about the war, and his experience with coins. He was a very good man. I will miss him.

David was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I met him when I was 13 years old. I was buying and selling jewelry and coins for the last 35 years. He was a Man of honor and dignity. My wife and I will miss him deeply. They just don't make them like David anymore..... I also send my deepest sympathy to his wife, family and friends. He will be missed by all the people that he has touched throughout his life.

Sincerely, Mark & Julie Moore

So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed many very good and thoughtful discussions with David, and wish I had gained more of his wisdom and taken more of his good advice.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
