Not sure what to say?

To open my computer and see the Obituaary for Cas, breaks my heart. I knew the date of his passing but it really hit home. It was like losing him all over again. No words can describe the hurt of David & Emily, and the rest of our family. Even after 10 years, I can't believe he is gone. He loved his grandpap, who followed him only months later. He never knew of Cas's passing, the doctor felt it would do him harm. I remember him often and pray for his family on the anniversary of his passing....

Remembering Cas is easy, but not having him in our lives is still so hard. After nine years, the hurt is still there. The fact that his grandpap left us so shortly after he did, was truly difficult. They are both always in my heart. Love Gram Devey

'It has been 6 years, and the hurt is still there. Reading all of the messages, made me understand how loved Cas was. We never told his grandfather of his passing and he followed him only a few months later. I am sure Cas was there to welcome him to his final home. Cas was a wonderful grandson and I still think of him often and miss his presence in this world. Take care of grand pap until I get there. Love Gram Devey

Dear Emily, Dave and Hannah,
We are thinking of you and so sorry to hear about Cas. I will always remember him walking home from school with Tristan, happy and laughing, that first fall semester that they found each other ... and how they would come home and raid the fridge, mainly to guzzle gallons of milk! They were both typical teenage boys, full of life and adventures and they led us on a few! We will always treasure fond memories of Cas and his smiles, warmth and zest. With our...
