Not sure what to say?

I met David through our LOCC Monday Nite ProTennis workout (?), trash-talking (!) and weekly beer fest (!). He also flew in the helicopter, as Chief Spotter, while we chased wild boar and coyotes (in an undisclosed area south of hwy 70).....until a knock on the door by a Park Ranger. David,....a nice guy! A fun guy! Miss Him !

I don´t know what made me think of looking up my best friend from my youth yesterday. When I went looking to contact him, I was saddened, no heartbroken, to find Davy´s obituary. I was surprised he had died the same year I had serious medical conditions that forced me to retire. I didn´t think it was possible to mourn a friend that had died nearly a decade ago, but I assure you it´s true. Grieving occurs in what I can only describe as waves of genuine sadness. I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my...

I'm sorry to hear to hear of David's passing. My condolences and sympathy to the family. I remembered meeting him for the first time in the late 70's at the Ark Plaza in Venice. He was a kind man and had a great heart. He was my ear. He will be missed. God bless.

To all of the Devlin family, my day was greatly saddened to learn of David's passing. You are all in my heart and prayers at this time. I hope you may find some comfort from the following quote, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."

Helen Keller

Sincerest condolences to Robin and family. Dave and I coached together with our boys at Babe Ruth several years ago. What a pleasure to be around, and talk to. His passing will be mourned by very many people. May God Bless his family at this time.

Sending prayers to you and your family Robin. I am so sorry to hear about Dave. With deepest sympathy,

Dear Robin
My heart goes out to you at such a difficult time. Dave was such a great guy and will be missed dearly. We are all lucky to have known him. Warm wishes to you and your family.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family. David was an incredible person and I feel honored to call him a friend. All the memories of our children growing up together, birthday parties, camping trips with the "Palmetto Monster" and Memorial Day weekends at Palm Island to name a few hold a very special place in my heart. He fitted my hearing aids and even though he was already sick, he kept his sense of humor and I will never forget his chuckle. That he will be missed is a huge...
