Uncle Dave always had such a presence. Whether he was sharing a story, listening, having a grand belly laugh or conducting an orchestra in the infamous 'red room' or 'captains room'. Spending weekends at Uncle Dave and Aunt Carolyn's were some of my greatest childhood memories.
Being a history buff Uncle Dave shared his disappointment when I had poor marks in US History when I was in high school. He said that if there were any history that I should know everything about it is was that...

Dear Carolyn,

I am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. I have many fond memories of him at Adams Square. The thing that stands out to me the most about Dave is his love for the Lord. I am praying for you and your family.

So blessed to have known Dave. His love for the Lord, and infectious smile and sense of humor are what I´ll always remember the most. We´re so sorry for your loss Carolyn! Praying for you and your family.

Dave, such a special and kind soul and friend with the biggest heart for others and their needs. We love you. We are so honored to be friends with Dave and met in 2000 attending church together at Adams Square Baptist Church, working side by side to reach people who needed God and Jesus as their Savior and his and our help, and also as our friend - both he and Carolyn. We have missed seeing you very much and was just thinking of you both the other day how we needed another visit at your...

To Dave's immediate and extended family, please accept my sincere sympathies at this time of loss. I was sorry to hear of Dave's passing, but glad to know he's no longer in pain and is with his Lord and Savior Jesus. I remember attending many of the same Adams Square Baptist Church board meetings and services with Dave during the time we both attended church there. It was a pleasure to have known him and Carolyn.

We had great times at Adams Square! It was a privilege to know David and a pleasure to serve with him.

Dear Carolyn and Dan, Words can hardly express how very sorry I am. My deepest condolences on Dave's loss. Repose en paix, mon ami. Sincerely, Chip
