Not sure what to say?

Not sure this will be read this far out from such a loss. But, David and I were both Navy Vets and he was a member of my PhD committee. I was in his class when he lost wife Tracie, and it was such a hard time for him and for those in his classes to see the heartache he was going through. I lost touch with him after he left Auburn, and to find this is a difficult thing to learn because he was a friend and mentor, and we shared our stories of Navy experiences. I hope and Pray to see him again...

Dr. D was on my PhD committee. They all liked my idea, even whittled it down a bit. They didn´t want me to be ABD, but that´s how it went since AU sold out the dept I had my GTA with. Hard to believe David is gone. He was such a very strong person. Everyone who has ever had a class with him knows what I mean.

May The force be with you....loved you my friend. Peace to the family.

He was a great friend and helped me during my PhD program at Auburn University. He was always up to help and listen. I'll miss how cheerful he was and his ability to carry conversations for hours.

I am stunned to learn of this news. When I first came to Auburn University it was Dr. DiRamio that helped me. Prayers for his soul and family in this time. RIP my friend.

Sympathy and condolences to the family of Dr. David DiRamio.May he rest in peace. As a Auburn graduate 1964, Godspeed.

We all were so sad to hear of David's passing.i would like to extend me and my family's deepest sympathy to Roberta and the entire DiRamio family. We know that David's hard work and dedication to others for a good cause will carry on forever. He will truly be missed by everyone. Love to you all, The Zakraysek family
