Dave - Well, you fought a helluva battle with health and together we fought the railroads to keep them from getting shed of us permanently 30 years ago! You were a determined survivor (no doubt due to that grizzled personality that dissolved so well around friends) and you did extremely well dealing with the myriad issues.

I was glad to call you friend and brother at the road and know that the road you travel now is so smooth and peaceful.

I'm so sorry I couldn't make it for your Good-Bye Party at the hospital. What a wonderful tribute to you Dave. When I speak of you, I speak not with tears, for my thoughts and neighborhood memories should not be sad, letting those times we shared give you the richness of Life and the comfort you deserve.
We all quietly lived our amazing different life's but I never forgot your smirky grin and dimples on your always smiling face. It truly came from the bottom of your heart.
