Not sure what to say?

I met David while he was Chief Pilot at Louisana Pacific, as a young pilot at just 21years old he allowed me to fly in the corporate jet in the jump seat. Remember it like it was just yesterday. Rest in peace kind and generous man. I´m sure you´re missed by many. God Speed!

I only met David briefly one time thru my father Marvin Bryan. My father told me that he gave David his first airplane ride at Sonoma county Airport. Then from that time David was in love with aviation. He inspired me to become a pilot and I always admired him for the ferry flights from Kansas to Australia. And later as chief pilot for Boise Cascade. May he rest in peace, I'm sure he will be missed.

From memory David flew Cessna twin engine aircraft. I´ve read other condolences since placing my own and I agree David was a real gentleman with a smooth personality.I don´t mind my email being displayed.

I remember a really nice pilot named David Dix who flew light aircraft from Wichita Kansas to Melbourne Australia via Tarawa in the Gilbert Islands.I´ve often how he progressed in Aviation.I used to look forward to his arrival into the Gilbert´s.Maurice Prendergast.

David, I will always remember your love of motorcycles and how that inspired me to someday ride my own. I will never forget your old Triumph project bike that you restored in the mid 1980's. Today as I ride my own 2010 Triumph Bonneville T100 down the road I will know that you too are riding your dream motorcycle in the sky. God Speed.

I miss you so much Dad. I still can't believe your gone. I loved our annual birthday pedi's, but most of all I loved just being with you. xoxoxoxo

You were the brother I never had, Bubba. May the sun always shine on your face and the wind always be at your back.

Steve and I are so terribly sorry to hear of David's passing. We will think fondly of the few rides we were able to accompany David and Rick and their friends on. David was a true gentleman, very generous and extremely capable on a motorcycle.
AdMo-Tours will not be the same without knowing we would get a yearly call from the Dix group. Rest in peace David, and our sincere condolences to his family. Thank you, Rick for keeping us in the loop.

To the Dix family I have known David for several years and there will never be another like him.His abilities as a aviator were extrodinary,as an artist he was unmatched in his talents,he was unmatched when it came to motorcycles but above all he always had time for his friends and people,I will miss being able to talk to you however the skies are blue and when you fly you will never have a mechanical airplanes or bikes, thanks for all the information and the help
