Not sure what to say?

I'll always remember you as one of the coolest uncles ever! I remember when my Grandpa Samuel Dixie brought us to E-town to meet our cousins for the first time. I was barely old enough to drive, let alone a stick-shift, and you let me and Rhonda drive all around E-town in your green VW bug! We chug chug chugged all around the place. What a summer that was! You were soft-spoken but fun to be around. Your legacy lives on!

To the Dixie Family, my deepest condolences to your entire family for the loss of someome so dear. David will always be remembered here at the Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport as the "hardest working man we know".We thank God for his hard work here and the advice and encouraging words he always had to offer to anyone in need. May God comfort and bless you all in this your time of grief.

The Materials Management Staff at Mary Immaculate extend our deepest condolences to the Dixie family. We all loved David or "Lovely" as he was known to us. Every day we miss his smile, his attitude and his calm disposition. He was our co-worker and our friend and is missed by the entire Mary Immaculate family. God bless you all.

To the Dixie Family:
Words cannot express my deepest sympathy for your family during this time of great loss. I have had the privlege for several years to experience David's smile, sense of humor, and positive attitude. He was truly an angel. Never did he ever say a negative word. He always smiled! He extended his love and warmth to all he came in contact with, whether it was a patient, visitor, fellow employee, or physician. We as human beings have learned a great many lessons from...

TO THE DIXIE FAMILY I WILL TRULY MISS HIM.WE CALL HIM THE HAT MAN NO OTHER ONE COULD WHERE A HAT LIKE HIM AND THAT SMILE HE KEPT ALL THE TIME. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY LOVE STEPHANIE BROWN AT MIH LABORATORY.

To the Dixie Family: Words cannot express the sadness that lives in our hearts when we lose a dear friend, like David. I was very lucky indeed to have known such a kind man. I am even richer for being able to call him "Friend". He will be missed very much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of David's Family.

To the Dixie family, my deepest condolences. I worked with David at MIH in Materials Management several years ago. I had the pleasure of taking him on his first and only sailboat trip on the Chesapeake Bay. The light in his eyes, his smile, and laughter taught me that even the simplest things in life can bring the greatest joys. The world will truly be a sadder place without David's smile and laughter.
