David Child Dodge III

David and I practiced our Italian language in emails for several years. I was amazed at his eagerness and capacity to learn and relate his learnings to the events around him. He always sent me a Latin or Greek email about the Risen Christ lives on Easter, and then his "Beware the Ides of March!" on March 15ths. He always answered a puzzling question by "What would Sulla do?" Such a joy. His sweet wife, Madeleine, sang with us in Good Shepherd's choir and I wish her and all the family...

David and I worked together quite a while at Kaiser. He was always available and cordial when I needed help. When we were just chatting, he had some amazing stories and interesting books on his shelf along with cherished family photos. It was a pleasure to know him.
