Not sure what to say?

David was a true friend. I got to know David best when we served our country in 1961 62 in France having bunks next to each other, and then afterwards for many years at First Bank. Always thoughtful, slow to anger with good judgment, he served well in and out of the Air Force, as well as his tour as President of First Bank. We all will miss David, and his dry sense of humor! Iam with covid otherwise I would express my condolences in person. A wonderful guy that added something to all...

Marie, we are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We cherish the wonderful memories of past fun times we had with you and Dave at Ascension. May he rest in peace.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Susannah & Claire please know you’re both in my thoughts and prayers as I will continue praying for your family through this difficult time.

Dave was a kind and gentle man. Rest in peace my friend.

I was friends with David and Marie through our couples dinner group. We have now lost 5 members of our group. David was such a gentleman. Easy to talk to and genuinely interested in each of us. Prayers for both David and Marie. He will be missed greatly.

I remember Mr. Doering from the time I worked at First Missouri Bank many years ago sending my condolences to his family
