Not sure what to say?

Mr Dollarhide was my homeroom teacher in the 8th grade at Olympic View Jr High 1965-66. It is so wonderful to read the heartfelt reminiscences of his former students, all of whom remembered him for his gentleness and kindness. It is especially nice to hear from his OV colleague Miss Ricketts, our PE teacher. Mr Dollarhide really did make the world a better place.

I was Mariner High School class of 75. Mr. Dollarhide was the best Humanities teacher, he always had such a great attitude. Then 30 years later I would be his cashier at Costco, what a turnaround!

What a wonderfully memorable gentleman Mr. Dollarhide was! He was my 8th grade Challenge teacher at Olympic View in 1965-1966. He demonstrated his kindness, considerateness, and empathy every day - and his sense of humor. I remember Mr. Dollarhide at OVJ - very nice man. He was the best!

Mr. Dollarhide taught me in 7th. grade at Olympic View in 1965-1966 and he'll be remembered for his kindness and unique teaching style. You were one of my favorites! God bless and comfort his family and loved ones. My heartfelt condolences.

Mr. Dollarhide made a lasting and positive impression on me at Olympic View and Mariner HS. I will never forget his kindness and patience, nor his smile. My condolences to his family.

I met Dave and Ginger many years ago through a mutual friend but I got to know them through the hymn sings we attended. What a blessing they were! They were dedicated to each other and to the Lord and their Christian love always shone through everything they did. I always looked forward to seeing them and getting caught up in their lives. Their demeanor was always something I admired. It was fitting that they passed on within a few days of each other. I am excited about meeting them again...

I was in the Class of 75 at Mariner. Mr. Dollarhide was always kind & patient with me. Always hid a smile. Was fortunate to have know him.

David and also his wife Ginger were faithful friends and strong supporters of the Hope Unlimited Fire/Police Chaplain ministry. They also served faithfully on the governing board for several years. They were kind and gracious people
