David was one of my best friends. I met David in 1990 when I started work at Motorola. At that time in his career, I found David to be a professional with high integrity, honesty and a lot of fun – he would soon move into bigger and more important roles within the company. We quickly began to form a personal relationship that grew and grew the more time we spent with each other.

I first met David when I interviewed with him back in 1989. I have know David longer than anyone except his parents,and his older brother,Milton. I grew up accross the street in lovely Lake Jackson,Tx. We played tag football in his yard on a regular basis,among other sports in the neighborhood. David was a great leader who had the abiity to recognize and develop the best from individuals while creating a team environment that produced great results. As I reflect upon my personal career one of the highlights is working on David's team. He touched many, and will live within each of us for times to come.
