Martha, I am a friend of Margaret

years and knew of her family (which
meant the world to her). I was so

Margaret and Bill and have Margaret
call the bank @ 979-297-9700 . My thoughts amd prayers are with you
and your children.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My career took an entirely different turn when David hired me into HR at Motorola. In my interview he said, "I can't believe we haven't met before!" He welcomed me to the team and always reached out to see how things were going. David was a caring, supportive leader and helped employees reach their goals. The most fun I had working with David was when I was working in Europe. He came over for several meetings and always found time to check in with me. We had great times taking David to...

What David Doolittle Meant to Me

David was one of my best friends. I met David in 1990 when I started work at Motorola. At that time in his career, I found David to be a professional with high integrity, honesty and a lot of fun – he would soon move into bigger and more important roles within the company. We quickly began to form a personal relationship that grew and grew the more time we spent with each other.

In 1993 I moved to NM and later to Chicago for career reasons but...

Martha and Family,

David was a close professional friend and teammate. We traveled together frequently, and on occassion with Travis as well. We always talked about our families as it was clear where our top priorities were and that while our success at Motorola would fade over time our families would create our legacy. Travis, I remember a great evening with you and your Dad at a German restaurant in Beijing. Laura, while I only meet you as an infant, through your Dad I feel like...

I first met David when I interviewed with him back in 1989. During the interview he asked me to describe one of my greatest accomplishments and I mentioned that I had just recently run my first marathon the Houston Tenneco. It was a great interview and I had the honor of working for David for many years. We had a tremendous amount of fun in those early years and I'll never forget workig with David on the first Motorola Marathon. For David it was not just about the marathon but about giving...

What can be said about a star? It twinkles, guides, illuminates by releasing core energy that radiates into space. David was one such star _ wherever he went and whatever he did, he released core energy to others.
I was taken by his energy when I interviewed with him 15 years ago to join the HR Department as a nurse. David held monthly meetings, always exuding humor, integrity, positiveness and charisma. At one meeting he announced that he had booked a theater for a private viewing of "Toy...

I have know David longer than anyone except his parents, and his older brother,Milton. I grew up accross the street in lovely Lake Jackson,Tx. We played tag football in his yard on a regular basis, among other sports in the neighborhood. We started surfing around 1966,and David and i rode frequently to Surfside beach, even when there were no waves. We were roommates during college, when i attended Texas State Univ.,in San Marcos. We liked a lot of the same music, sports, and beer. I also went to...

David was a great leader who had the abiity to recognize and develop the best from individuals while creating a team environment that produced great results. As I reflect upon my personal career one of the highlights is working on David's team. He touched many, and will live within each of us for times to come.
My thoughts and prayers are with Martha and the family.
