We just had our 55th South High School reunion and Dave was listed as missing, such a sad way to find him, remember his playing football, and fun times as classmates. I share your saddness.

I got to know David well during his last few months, but I think I learned more from him in those months than I have in the last year and a half. He made me realize what is important in life on a personal and professional level. I know he enjoyed many great moments with his family and friends in his last few months of life. He will be missed.

David was kind of a special friend.I enjoyed the time I spent with him and probably had more heart to heart talks with Dave than any one else.Thankfully his battles are over.

So sorry to hear about your dad. He was a very special person when I was growing up. He shoed by horse all throughout 4-H and when my horse became sick at the Lowell 4-H fair, he spent a couple days and nights helping us walk him so he wouldn't colic. He was a very special person and we thought very highly of him.
