We met David at the V.A. Hospital, on the 8th floor, when my husband and I went up to visit a friend. His good cheer and faith really blessed our hearts. He shared much of his life story with us, and we told him "You really should write a book!" We continued to visit him after that, whenever we went up to the V.A.
