Not sure what to say?

Dear Friends, All of your kind remembrances and thoughts have touched us deeply as we grieve for our beloved David. We love reading people's observations and it is very comforting to know how many people cared about David and appreciated him in so many ways. Your words mean so much to us. David appreciated each and every one of you for the beautiful, kind people that you are. Thank you for taking the time to write in to this guestbook... we are very grateful. Fondly, David's niece,...

From Mrs. Schmidt's kindergarten class through high school, David was a pal of pals. I'm sorry we fell out of touch over the years, but reading his life's history brings me no surprises. He was already an expert mechanic at 15, honing his skills further on the ecclectic and unique, and always passionate about everything he did, be it work or pleasure. God speed, my old friend.

My condolences to his entire family.
I met Dave at ISCC and skating on the same ice as him was always a great pleasure. I will miss his smile and his kind nature. Now he can land that axel in heaven.
I will miss him greatly.

David, you will be missed by me and all the other skaters who got to know you while skating in Lake Placid and got to call you a friend. You will not be forgotten and I will miss seeing you in August. Peace, Debbie Carey

Dave was always there for assistance and a whitty remark about anything. I will miss the laughs and fun times we had throughout our Szigeti experience. He was a loyal friend and a person that you were glad to have met. People like Dave do not happen every day. Courtney, Charlie, and I give much sympathy to his family and friends. He will be missed.

CAVU and tail winds...vaya con Dios, my friend.

It has been many years since I last saw David when we were at Somers High School but I still remember him for his sense of humor and good nature. David was part of why Somers was and still is a special place to me.

My heart goes out to the family of an old friend.
I was still active around the DZ when Dave was active.
I know how very hard it is to nurse a love one during illness. God bless all of you.
I will remember you in my prayers.

I met Dave jumping at CPI many years ago. I remember him as a good honest friend. He was a very happy and enthusiastic jumper.

He later would fly his airplane to the drop zone and visit. I lost touch with Dave over the years and was sad to see that he passed away. My thoughts of Dave, are with the deepest respect for who he was. A good person with a big heart.
