While I had only known David a short time, he was an inspiration to me. I will follow up on his recent invitation to learn more about Angel Flight and will miss his insight at our Saturday breakfasts.

Dave was a class act, a man's man and a gentlemen's gentlemen. I will miss his smile and warm greetings every week. We are all better people for having had David Drake in our lives.

I considered David one of my closest church friends. He and I were on Pastor's call committee and we felt God had spoken to us during the experience. We attended the Synod Conference together the following year. He was always so happy and positive about life. I will never forget him and will sincerely miss him. Anita and children, please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

Dave was a dear friend and was a gift to us all. I was a better person for having been able to spend time with him. His insight into scripture and his willingness to share his faith and his expressions of love for his family were traits to be copied by all. I will miss him very much. I have absolutely no doubt that Dave is getting his questions answered by God in the depth he has always wanted. My deepest sympathies to his family. Larry Bauer.
