Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Driscoll family. It was so fun to live across the street from him after I returned to Jackson as an adult. Especially hugs to Dan who I miss dearly.

Coach, this was more than football. He coached young men in life. For me - I learned perseverance, team, to respect others. I was a bench sitter on a football team that was not a traditional Driscoll team. 2-7, 1-8 I could have been frustrated but I was encouraged to be a part of the team. After high school I was allowed to help coach others. Coach Driscoll coached coaches and well as players. Blessings on his family. He blessed my family through his investment in me.

Coach Driscoll once told me that he wanted to touch young people's lives. And so he did. He was my ninth grade biology teacher. I came to love biology then and to have a greater love and respect for creation. On one field trip he noticed a couple of us walking past litter on the ground, and he asked us why we didn't pick it up. Ever since I've picked up litter. He wasn´t trying to shame us but instead he wanted to get us to consider how to live our lives well. That is just one very...

Coach Driscoll and wife Stella with grandson Will Driscoll (son of David and Sally Driscoll). Will was about 8 years old in this picture, and is now a faithful man of 25.

Dave helped me start my career as a teacher/coach that lasted @ 37 years. I coached against Dave when he was at Parkside High School. I was always impressed by Dave's honesty, faith and his dedication to his players. His voice was always recognizable at a clinique or at a family reunion. I'm sure that when Dave passed his smile was a mile wide because he would soon be seeing Stella again in heaven. Hope to see both of you soon.

Coach Driscoll was such a good man! A life well lived. Sending Prayers and sympathy to the Driscoll family.

Loved this man. The only reason I still remember the "Mary-stems-in-the-attic" region of the carrot. I´m 70 years old now and still think about him every time I cut carrots. Best teacher ever. He encouraged me to keypunch stats for the football team, and that gave me the experience I needed to get my Co Op job. He gave all of us students knowledge, skills, confidence and respect while always remaining strong and faith-filled. There were no "losers" in his world. An amazing human. RIP, Sir.

Mr. Driscoll was easily my favorite teacher. His instruction style was so vivid and detailed that to this day I remember his use of his classroom's opposing doors to represent the heart & coronary vessels. His students always appreciated extra credit for guessing the score and outcome of the Friday night game! He brought energy, positivity and enthusiasm to life. Wishing his family comfort and peace .
