The Ann Arbor (Pioneer) High School football team had scored against Lansing Everett High School at Hollway Field in 1963 and an extra-point conversion would knot the score- 20 - 20. Dave Duff split the uprights with his kick and the Pioneer fans in the seats breathed from taking a breath. This I remember.

I well remember the Duff "boys" from Angell school and onward. Frank was in my class and know they were full of fun and lots of hockey. May there be a rink in heaven!

Aww Dave...one of the best of the Keech Street gang,(which was quite the gang) Eberwhite, Slauson and Ann Arbor Pioneer Class of `64....a good friend, a great athlete and above all, a wonderful human. My heart goes out to the entire family.

This is something I wanted to share. last night August the 16th I had a dream about a teacher I had at grand blanc high Mr David Duff in the early 1970s .He was like one of us we all had long hair and bellbottoms in those days and he made a life long impression on me with his genuine concern for his students. Frank, So sorry to hear about your brother's passing. I have great memories of you two guys growing up in Ann Arbor together.

So sad to hear. My condolences to Frank and Dave´s family. My memories are of a guy who brightened every room and left you feeling better. So much fun on the ice. A great teammate. Gods grace to the family.

Dave was aces. Tough Smart and Kind. He was loved and respected by many.
