Not sure what to say?

Dave was one of the best and most sincere guys you could ever know. Few people will leave a heavy foot print in your heart, Dave will be remembered in ours forever. Love ya buddy, Beau and Vicki

I knew David and Betsey through the Fire Department, where my husband, Don, was stationed with David. I'll always remember him as a sweet, kind, caring man who was always hungry! He will be missed by so many. My love and condolences to Betsey and Chris.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Lynne and I recall our trip to Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks with David and Betsey. I recall David saying he loved 'smooth asphalt' when we'd hit a stretch of new roadway. I guess he's riding the 'smooth asphalt' now. Lynne and I will miss you David.

It has been an honor to have known you. God bless your family and comfort your extended Carveacre family.

David was a dear family friend and a neighbor. I knew him my whole life. He always was there for our family and took great care of my Grandmother. I have so many memories growing up of David, Betsy and Chris. He will be greatly missed.

I went all through high school with David and I had the pleasure of being in several classes with him and we became friends. He was a terrific person and a very caring person. My condolences to the family. He will be missed

David I will as all your fellow firefighter brothers will miss you. I had the honor on the day of your passing to ring the bell of honor in your name at our SDFFCU annual meeting. What I remember most about you was you quiet way of helping others. We won the competition in the 5th fire academy. We rode to the academy to save gas money and became fast friends. I was elected the honor man of that academy, but only because you helped not only in the class room but in field. I celebrate your life...
