David Otto Dulaney, 71, of Quincy, died November 19, 2024, in St. Luke's Hospital, Chesterfield, Mo. Services will be November 27, at 11 a.m., at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be November 27, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.

For those who appreciate local history, Dave's loss will be an acute one. He was proud to have grown up on the Boscobel property at today's 36th and Broadway, developed in the 19th century by Congressman James Singleton. Dave was an expert in the many 19th century steamboats that plied the Mississippi River and stopped at the busy Quincy landing .
