Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to read of David's passing, we were second cousins & our mothers were close friends years ago. David contacted me several times to try to meet again, we had not seen each other since we we were very young, sadly time ran out.

I'll always remember those days when his parents & mine got together at my Grandma's home in Newburyport, very fond memories.

My sincere condolences to David's family & friends. My memory of David is of a gracious, friendly...

I am so saddened to hear about David's passing. I enjoyed being his neighbor in Cranston. And Trixie, I am not sure if you remember, but I am Ryan Forman's mom (Rocky Hill class of 2005). My thoughts are with your entire family. Barbara Dunder (Forman)

I served in the RI House of Representatives with Dave. He was an interesting person, great sense of humor and genuine love of country. He had many interests and an appreciation for the arts. Proud of his heritage he was one of the truly civil public officials. My condolences to his family at this time of loss.

David was the epitome of a gentleman, ever gracious, such a pleasure to know, both personally and professionally. Our family expresses heart-felt sorrow at his passing. We truly enjoyed knowing him.

I met Dave while practicing law; we worked together on a couple of cases. He was a consummate gentleman, smart, and a very knowledgeable attorney. I enjoyed working with him. My deepest condolences to all of his family. Jill Votta

Dave Dumas, 1977

Dave was already a true Renaissance man when I got to know him in East Greenwich in 1977, just as his political career was beginning. We spent a day on the water at the America's Cup that fall, where I snapped this picture. My condolences to his family. Godspeed, Dave. You done good.

Dearest Sam, Trixie, and Family,

I am so sorry. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Joanne Geruso (Temkin)
