Not sure what to say?

Dear Jean,I,m so sorry thatI could not be with you at this sad time, but I wanted to tell you just some of the thoughts about David, his devotion to his church, and the memory of his son David, still bringtears to my eyes, his love for Neena, Chris, and you, were very special. David was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and John and I always enjoyed battling over the games. He loved visiting here in the mountains and recalling his birth at the Biltmore Estate. I will miss our talks. Jeannette...

Jean, It's always sad to lose a "Michigan Man" but it's even harder when you lose a person of extreme integrity, like Dave. From the time Dave came to work for me in '84, we became good friends and went through a number of life-changing decisions together over the next several years. I always appreciated his counsel and friendship during those and later years. I will miss him greatly.

Thoughts and prayer are with you. No matter the circumstances, it is so hard to lose our loved ones. Sincerely, Dorella Bond

Dear Jean:
David's passing causes me great sorrow. He was a very important part of my coming of age in high school; a role model and a leader. There were four of us, David, John Farrell, Jim Jackson and Bill Cooper, an especially tight group in our high school fraternity. David was the leader and inspiration for the other three. He was president of the student council, starting tackle on the football team and heart throb of every girl in school. We all four joined the Navy shortly...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Rest In Peace Uncle David....I was sad to hear of your passing and my heart and prayers go out to all your family.
David Dunkle was also predeceased by his sister Betty and my dad, his brother John. Betty, David and John Dunkle grew up in Palm Beach, Fl, grandchildren of pioneer settlers. He is also survived by numerous Florida family. It was really good spending time with David and Jean, although it was a sad time, when we laid to rest his brother John. Take care, my deepest...

I'll miss visiting you when I fly through DFW again. I'm so thankful for all the time we did get to spend together. You are a wonderful Uncle (and husband, father, grandfather, etc.). Many prayers for Jean and Chris and rest of the family. Say hello to Dad for me.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Rest in peace, dear Dave, and may God comfort Jean, Chris and their families.
