David Guitar Dvm

I first met David and Mitzi at the Pittman ranch in Clyde, Texas, when David had his practice at Merkel, Texas, He became my vet until he retired to the Hill Country. He was an amazing vet and a wonderful friend. If I had a problem with one of my dogs or horses, I could always call him, and he would often advise me over the phone or have me bring my animals in for him to treat. There was no other vet like him for up-to-date information or treatment. I was devastated when he and Mitzi moved...

I just found out that my beloved mentor, Dr. David Guitar, passed in 2018. He was supremely instrumental in my acceptance to vet school and taught me so very much when I worked for him. He was a dear, dear friend and I'm so sad I didn't get to say goodbye to him.

To the family of Dr. David Guitar,
Please accept our sincere condolences and sympathy at this of sorrow.What a tremendous amount of energy and love for life Dr. Guitar must have had to have accomplished so much!! May God provide you with strength and endurance as you travel the road ahead.
