Not sure what to say?

Joan and family, So sad for your loss. Danny has reminisced about David and their childhood gatherings, the good times they had when all the family came to Minnie's & Papa's house. The house was full of love, laughter, and fun, and GOOD food. What great memories. David loved his boats, and fishing. Joan, you were very special to David, and we know your heart is broken. He is resting peacefully. We love you. Brenda & Danny

Joan and family, we are all so saddened to hear of Dave´s passing. On behalf of all the Woodard family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

Dave and I were distant cousins from our grand parents in North Carolina. I introduced Dave to offshore fishing in the late 60's fishing for Bluefin Tuna. He loved it and kept building and buying bigger boats. RIP Cuz! See you on the other side.

I worked with Dave at Fort Eustis and he was known for doing great work. I knew Dave thru PSWSFA our fishing club. Dave was a great fisherman and we followed him wherever he docked his boat. We tried to go see him when we were close by. You will be missed. RIP friend!

Gone are the days we fished alongside each other in the deep. I could not see you much of the time but I knew you were no further away than my VHF radio, quick always to answer my questions. The ocean has become a bit more empty. Rest in peace, my friend!

You could not have met a better person than Dave Eason. During my time at the Virginia Beach Fishing Center, he was always willing to give me very helpful advice. Thanks Dave for your loyality and kindness. I will miss you.

Joan, I am sorry to hear of Dave´s passing. I have so many memories of him and my late husband, Don White, together. He was not only a very kind man but an awesome friend. Grace and peace be with you and your family in the coming days! Peggy White
