Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry for the loss of what I considered a very good man. Pastor Ebernard welcomed myself and, my family into the Historic Trinity family with open arms. He made me feel right at home from the first time I met him. Subsequently, the guy not only Baptised me, he Baptised my three children and, two of my Grandchildren ( we didn't get the third child in in time). I going to miss Rev. Dave alot. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

David Eberhard...a true leader of Detroit! A man of faith. A man of the people and long time family friend.

Those messages at Chapel while at Lutheran High School East were like "No Others". With the grace of God and his beautiful wife and family what a life and legacy he was allowed to live. No disrespect but look out! Heaven.

We remember that powerful voice when we came downstate to Holy Trinity. Always enjoyed his sermons.

I remember Rev. Dr. Eberhard when he was a member of the Detroit City Council. I do not live in Detroit, but I remember him fondly. My condolences to his family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Rest in peace Pastor Dave! I'll never forget the days at Riverside and working with you as Lutheran Peace Corps volunteers. You have certainly touched many lives for the better.
Peace to your family in this time of need.
