Not sure what to say?

I worked with Dave when he was at Touch of nature and had a great number of advewntures with him. I was very sorry to hear of his passing

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We were in film school at SIU together and recently reconnected. I instantly remembered his verve, knowledge, and all around good will.

We had a great long phone conversation a few months ago. I always learned so much from him and always appreciated his genuine enthusiasm. He was inspiring.

This is a great loss. I extend my deepest sympathies to all the family.

Jane,
We're so sorry for your loss. I hope you're able to take some solace in knowing what a full life Dave was able to live in 42 short years and how many people he touched.
I never met anyone with more actual life experiences than Dave - from sailing, hot air ballooning, Civil War re-enactment and on..and on.
Lord knows I tried - but I never did find a topic to discuss where Dave didn't know more than me. And yet, he conveyed knowledge in a way so few could - never...

Jane and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We were so sorry to hear of your loss.

Dave was one of the coolest guys from my days in the Cinema Department at SIUC. He worked on everyone's projects - with skill, enthusiasm and support. He was so easy going and unpretentious that you couldn't help but want to be around him. His kindness and generosity were compelling - he touched me deeply by one day giving me an extra motorcycle helmet so my passengers could be safe and legal! Dave stood out. Dave was a great human being.

I will always remember Dave from the time we were in college and working with Touch of Nature. He was a kind, caring and loving person with one hell of a sense of humor. I will never forget the times that humor helped when I felt the lowest in my life. I will be forever grateful for his humor, kindness and generosity. God bless you and your family.

May the Peace of the Lord be with you and your family.

I was so sad to hear of Dave's passing. When I think of Dave the first thing that comes to mind is his smile and great sense of humor. He will be missed greatly, by everyone that crossed his path. My prayers are with you and your family.

We were so sorry to hear that Dave had passed. The news was a shock to all... We often times thought that there is know way one individual could have the knowledge that Dave had about almost everything. He had a wonderful sense of humor and engaged with everyone he came in contact with. He was a good friend and will be missed beyond words. Our thoughts and prayers are with him always!!! God Bless!!!
