Not sure what to say?

I remember when I first met Dave at Airport #2. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met and had a great passion for flying. I too am a pilot and looked up to his great example. I learned a lot from the one time he took me flying. I helped restore his Pacer and listened to stories of his life while we were in his hangar. He was always a fun guy to be around. I may not know everything about him but I knew he lived a great life and had so many accomplishments. I'm glad I had the...

I met dave in the civil air patrol. We always gave each other crap (in a good way) Dave was always looking out for his squadron. When you flew with dave you would learn alot. When we flew together we had a great time. Dave was one of the kindest, soft spoken man I have ever met. Im going to miss him.GOD BLESS. And to the family Im so sorry for your loss.

In his first marriage, David was married to one of my best friends. Though older, their daughters were great friends of my daughters and in the summers at Duck Lake had wonderful times together. My family lived in France and on several occasions the Edgerlys visited us.

I had always wanted to be on a flight from Paris to Detroit piloted by Dave and usually flew Pan Am, but it never happened. However, one summer I flew home through New York on another airline and as we circled and...

I read the Kzo Gazette daily but live in Florida. My maiden name was Edgerly and 1st name Susan. Just was surprised because I have not meet an Edgerly that was not related. Sounds like David was a great person.

I'm going to miss going through the gate at Airport #2 and looking to see if your hangar door is open so I can stop by to say hi.

Flying with you was always an adventure. I hope there are small airplanes in the next life; and that you and I will get a chance to fly and talk together again.

Dave in the Piper Pacer at Airport #2

I knew Dave for only what seems to be too short of a time. He was kind enough to let me fly with him and I did some photography work from his Pacer. Dave was a wonderful pilot and I am proud to have known him. May God Bless! I know his family and friends will miss him!

We all lost very good friend, pilot and hangar buddy and I wish I could have done half of what he acomplished in his life,he was always a good friend and was a great person to have known. Marisa, Sheryl and Family we are sorry for your loss He was one of a kind.

I am a member of the Utah Wing of the Civil Air Patrol and knew him as an officer and pilot in the Civil Air Patrol. Military pilots don't often join Civil Air Patrol. I don't know why. Perhaps they get a little too much flying in the service. It speaks a lot of him that he would fly combat missions for our nation and then volunteer to fly with the Civil Air Patrol. I am very sorry for your loss.
