Ike was a remarkable man. Always very kind and very friendly. Ike would always come over and talk with my family. Ike loved them and they loved Ike. I worked there for 5 yrs, my sister worked there for 5 yrs and my daughter worked there for 5 yrs. Ike will be (and is) truly missed. He was one of a kind. REST IN PEACE DEAR FRIEND!

I was in the same 6th grade class as David at Pleasant Gap Elementary School. We thought he was pretty special having the same name as President Dwright Eisenhower's grandson and the President's nickname. The political slogan at the time was, "I Like Ike". We had talent in that class with Kaye Kane, the pianist, and Paula Markle the tap dancer, and David, the singer. Our class under Mr. Frank worked on a yearly project to produce a marionette show for school, parents, and community. David...

It's been many years since I have seen Dave. I remember him at Milesburg Assembly of God. I was just a kid still' but always thought of him as a gentle giant. My sincere condolences to all of the family. The greatest gift is knowing he is with Jesus now!

Georgie, Thad and everyone, I will remember Ike forever as a kind gentle soul in all the talks we had..especially when I was your neighbor on Cartreff Road. .it never bothered him that my flock swam in the Pool anytime day or night. He cared deeply about others, there was not a petty bone in his body. He raised.a fine family and will surely be missed. If I had known about this I would have come to the services. Love and many blessings, Jane Adams Purcell

A class act. Not too many restaurants you can work at in your 20's, and continue to go back to decade after decade, and see the same owner,(and many loyal workers). Made everyone feel welcome.
