Not sure what to say?

I was unaware of Dave's passing until now. I was a Deputy District Attorney in Adams County when Dave was a Public Defender here. We did many cases together as adversaries. He was a passionate advocate for his clients and a fierce competitor in the courtroom. Although we had some heated battles, I always respected his commitment to his clients and his dedication to pointing out flaws in our system, it made us all better. We lost touch when he returned to GJ but I always remember...

I had the pleasure of working with Dave while I was employed as division clerk for Judge Bottger for 30 years. I remember him as always prepared, quick to offer help, and a fierce advocate for each client he had. He was a delight to work with. His obituary helped me get to know him even better.

My first memory nof David was when he would walk to Wingate elementary school with Ruby ( chocolate lab) to pick up Jess!

It was my good fortune to have Dave as a brother in law. He brought such love and joy to my sister, Diana, and knowing him, his kindness, and warmth was such a gift. I loved his wacky humor, and readiness with an ( often goofy) pun! Dave will be so missed, but his love remains.
