ELDER, David R. – Of Flint, age 76, died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Willowbrook Manor.



 



Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Denny Church officiating.



 



Burial in Flint Memorial Park,



 



Those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys.



 



Visitation 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.



 



David was born on December 9, 1942, in Malden, Missouri, the son of Donald and Roberta (Varner) Elder.



 



On March 27, 1965 he married Revalee Price in Flint.



 



He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge.



 



He enjoyed karaoke.



 



Surviving are ex-wife, Revalee;



 



children, Kenny Elder,



David Elder, both of Flint,



Rusty Elder of Burton,



Cynthia and husband Randy Adams of Flint;



 



several grandchildren;



 



sister, Donna and husband Fred Marshall of Flint;



 



brothers, John Elder of White Lake, Lee and wife Linda of Iowa.



 



He was preceded in death by his son, Greg; brothers, Bob and Burley; sisters, Katherine and Joyce Elder.
