Ellen, So sorry to hear of the passing of David. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences go out to my friends Kathy & Barb, to the rest of your robust family, your Dad's friends, and the countless others whose lives were enriched through their association with him. He was a well-loved and respected cornerstone member of our community, keeper of Augusta's rich history, and he will be greatly missed. He lived an incredibly full and long life. I will always remember hid love and kindness to my husband and myself. He he held a very special place in our lives and hearts. We were honored to be adopted by the entire family. I will forever remember him. Rest in peace my dear friend and say hello to Marc.

What a wonderful man! I met David through our love of weather. We talked of past tornadoes/weather events in our area. David kept track of them all, assembled a wonderful scrap book of photos and newspaper articles. I was honored that he let me borrow it so the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids could scan the pages for their archives. I am proud to have known him and I send my deepest sympathy to David´s family and friends. He will be missed by many. With love, Kim Delfsma
