Not sure what to say?

Hey brother, remember celebrating with you at Sabrina´s home in 1993? Carol sent me this recently and I am so happy to have a copy. I cherish the kindness and unconditional love and support you offered me for the 49 years I got to be your little sister. I wish we had more time together. You are often in my heart and my husband and children (now grown up) speak of you with love and tenderness.

Dear Sabrina and all of the Ellis family, I am so sorry about Dave's death. I can hardly believe it and remember so well the last time I saw him at a recent TAC graduation. He was the same warm and kind person that I remember from our days at TAC. He was so courageous and other-oriented, giving himself in service as a police officer. I will remember him and the entire family in my prayers. What a shock for everyone -- he is greatly missed I am sure! Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine....

It's been nearly five months now since your passing. I still have not brought myself to erase the last text message or delete you from my address book. You are missed so much and I still tell stories about things we did at work and off duty together as though you were still with us. I miss you Dave and my heart goes out to Carol, Jessie,Casey and the rest of the family.
