Class of 1974 Montrose HS - It is always painful to hear of the loss of one of my classmates. I haven't seen David in many years, but I have two memories about David that had an impact on my life. I'm a fraternity brother Class of 1980 and just wanted to let the family know that even though I have not seen Dave since we all graduated my memories of Dave are warm and admiring. He was a rock and seemed to have an unflappably good attitude toward life and the crazy time it was to be where we were in 1977 and 1978. My God, I just found out that you are no longer with us mortals. I spoke to you just a few weeks ago and never thought that you would be gone so fast. You were a wonderful friend and I enjoyed your company very much. May God keep and nurture your soul. I offer my deep condolences to your wonderful family.

You will be missed Dave. You were a wonderful loving father and treated my family like your own. I know you loved Asheville and we had fun exploring and taking pictures of the local natural beauty.
