Jeanne:
I am thinking of you today at the service. I only learned yesterday about David's death, when I heard from a friend in Michigan. I will miss David. He was a good friend and a good man. In this time of loss and grief, I pray that you will know the peace of Christ.

Jean and Family,May the Lord surround you with his unfailing love. What a treasure your husband was,and is, and special servant of our Lord. I had just conversed with him and had received his wise counsel as I had received in the past. He has served our Lord so ably, and now praise the Lord he hears his Father's well done. My wife and I praise our covenant God for his ministry.

Jean and Family,May the Lord surround you with his unfailing love. What a treasure your husband was,and is, and special servant of our Lord. I had just conversed with him and had received his wise counsel as I had received in the past, when I was informed of his cancer. He has served our Lord so ably, and now praise the Lord he hears his Father's well done. My wife and I praise our covenant God for his ministry.

Jeanne and Kris -
I am so sorry to hear of your husband (father's) passing. Since, I am no longer at Blodgett and kind of out of the loop, I did not hear of his illness until seeing the TV news. (I still work for Spectrum, I am at the Sleep Disorders Center) My thoughts and prayers are with you. Linda Tuttle

Jean & family,
We are so sorry for you & your family that you are physically separated from Dave. I remember him as gracious friend, neighbor & informal scripture teacher. Those were great days when he stayed home & sat in on our neighborhood bible study. He taught me to love learning about the Lord.
Our prayers are with you as you grieve.

Dear Dave, Alisa and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. A time for sorrow, but also great rejoicing at the homegoing of a saint. Caleb's dream was a gift to all of you. God bless all of you.

Jeanne,

We're in Florida during Christmas break where I found David's obituary on-line.

We give our condolences and pray for you and your family.

May he rest in peace.

We remember David as a very gracious and humble professor who always had a ready word of encouragement. As I (Patti) prepare my Hebrew classes at Asian Theological Seminary, I am thankful for his skilled training and the opportunity he gave me to teach a few of his Hebrew classes while I was studying at Calvin Seminary. We praise God for his grace and gift of eternal life and we pray - you as a family - will be upheld by God's gracious, everlasting arms.
