REV EPLEY WAS MY FRIEND FOR MANY YEARS! AT ONE SEASON,, I WAS HIS ORGANIST & SINGER, IN HIS REVIVAL CRUSADES. TALKED WITH HIM THE DAY BEFORE HE PASSES. PRAYING FOR HIS FAMILY.

I will never forget you Pastor Epley. You will always be my best friend and Pastor. Although I never meet you face to face. I am grateful for your many letters you wrote me of encouragement. I can't put into words how much you meant to me and my mom but my life hasn't been the same. I am sooo grateful that we meet through letters. I miss you! Rest in heaven Pastor David Epley.

My deepest condolences to the Family.

My mother recently passed and in going through her things I came across a letter your dad sent to me many-many years ago. I never knew about it and reading it for the first time brought tears to my eyes, as it reminded me of what I was going through as a young teen and soon to be mother.

Your (Pastor Epley) letter asked me "if I got your tel-a-gram, I sent you a day or so ago?, and that the letter was confidential" however, my mother...

I am at a loss of words of the loss of such a great man and pastor. My mother use to take me to some of the revivals when he was here in a St.Louis.I can still hear his voice singing hold the light. My mother is now 92 i still take care of her. My grand mother pass away 10yrs back. My mom don't know that he is no longer with use. Don't know how to tell her.
