Not sure what to say?

First met David in the late `80´s on some difficult plating projects for IBM. Over the years we maintained a great working relationship and would occasionally call each other just to catch up. My condolences on the passing of a wonderful gentleman.

I'm sad to hear of David's passing; what a wonderful life he was, he had. I met David in about 2003 at a factory in Butte, Montana. He came out with golden quarters! I tried for the next 5 years to purchase his technology, but couldn't convince the upper management. Yet, David continued to call me year after year. Once a year I could expect a phone call; not business but just friend calls. David knew how to make friends, because he certainly was one to me. I'll miss him

David was a friend for over 20 years. Like many he met, our first meeting left me with a gold-plated penny. I was drawn to David because of his wit, charm, great stories, passion about his business and that "it" that escapes definition. We didn´t see each other often but we spoke several times a year and got together for dinner when we were in the same city, Orlando or Dallas and oddly enough, never in NYC. In addition, I'd like to say that in tandem with the nature of David Epner's family business in Laser Gold Electroplating, I feel that in essence, David encompassed something further - the most true and pure golden heart beyond all else.

I sincerely cherished David's friendship and will miss him dearly. While we did not get to see each other often since he was in New York and I am in Chicago, we talked often, and our discussions were always uplifting, insightful, and memorable. He taught me much over the years, and I can only hope that in return I was able to offer some small nuggets he found worthy. In the past year, we both had critical business issues to address, and our talks were more frequent. We leaned on each...

The world will not be the same without David´s smile, love of life, family and friends. I will miss his passion for excellence, his compassion and concern for others, his father-like guidance, his sage advice and counsel, his jokes and humor and above all his true friendship. I have never met such a unique and wonderful man as David before and will miss him. The world was blessed to have him with us for 89 years. May he Rest In Peace.

David was a very great and good man, quiet and wise, steady and loyal in all aspects of life. My neighbor all these years in Brooklyn, I knew him and wife, Doris first thru care of their cat, Dora, and got to know them gradually - very amazed at the unique and creative way they conducted their lives, always full of surprises and interesting stories. David grieved his dear wife when she died a few years ago, yet remained active in work and travel, plus had been coming to hear me play piano...
