Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Dave's passing. From 1989 to 1997 I worked with him for the City of Lakewood. He started each day with a smile. He will be an inspiration to all for his kindness and gentlemanly manner. May his family accept my sincere condolence.

Mr. Erhardt you will be missed. I will always remember your kindness and warm smile. You helped me out more than once while being an officer in Lakewood. Growing up with Mark at St. Richard's and St. Ed's was great and you were more than generous as was your wife when you invited me into your home in North Olmsted. You will be missed and my prayers are with you all.

Mr. Erhardt was a very good man and a strong, loving father and husband. I am sorry that he is no longer physically with us. I always remember his kindness as Mark and I grew up in St. Ed's together. Mrs. Erhardt, Mark and Kim, my heart is with you all. Matt

MRS ERHARDT & FAMILY,
I WORKED WITH DAVE FROM 1983-1995 AS A DISPATCHER. HE WAS ALWAYS SWEET AND KIND TO ME. MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU AND ALL YOUR FAMILY DURING THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME.

Dave was one of my training officers on the Lakewood Police Department back in the 70s. He was the kind of guy everyone wanted on their shift -- reliable, knowledgeable, humorous, and committed to his job. He was a good role model to the other officers. Our condolences to his family. He was a good man and a good friend.

What a great neighbor, and friend.
Thank you MaryAnn, Mark and Kim for sharing with us your wonderful father. He always said hello, how are you? and always have a smile.
May God be with you today and always as you now know that your husband and father no longer has to suffer. We will all miss his radiance.
Love, Linda Hochschild Morris

The Erhardts have been a second family to me through the years. Great neighbors and wonderful friends. We love you and are here for all of you. Kim, I know your Dad is beaming with pride looking down upon his grandson, Jack David. He has your Dad as his very own guardian angel!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I worked with Dave when he was a Lakewood Police Detective. He was always kind and helpful to me as a new guy and to the people he dealt with as a Detective. I am sorry to hear of his passing and my condolences to Dave's family.
