David, How can it be two years already! I can picture, in my mind, you and John having a glass of brandy and a cigar - looking down on us, loving us, caring for us. We miss you so much BUT it is comforting to know you are in good company. Look for Daddy Roy - he would enjoy the time with you and John (he was known to enjoy a 'nip'. You are forever in my heart... I miss our regular visits and treasure our texts and conversations - they are as vivid as yesterday. Hugs and Blessings, Jeani

I worked with David at two different jobs because we worked so well together, but he was more than a colleague, I told him he was one of my "anchor people". I clearly remember the day he told me of his diagnosis, we had picked up coffee from Oslo in Brooklyn and we agreed he was going to be fine. I hate that we were wrong. To this day (including today!) I see things and think I need to text David as it will make us laugh, and then remember that I can´t. I miss him so much.

David took me under his wing when i met him in New York in 2012 and was always a beacon of hope and joy with his wry smile and his soft voice. There aren't many people like him on this earth and just want to say thank you to his family for sharing him with the rest of us. He will always be remembered.
