Not sure what to say?

We are always reminded of Bit especially when we pass by Beale Park and when we see his children and grandchildren!! His legacy lives on and so does his memory! He is not and will never be forgotten!

Jackie

I have just learned the shocking news of Bit’s passing. My heart goes out to his daughter and son. I met Bit through the Surry Ham House. As much as I disliked going there I found a friend that made my monthly visits worth the trip. Every time I saw Bit he had another story about his kids which he told to me with great pride. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. The news of Bit's passing was a shock. Hopefully he can rule the " lot " from his new home. What a great smile and laugh he always had. Take care of yourself Bobby.

Lindsey, Daniel and Family,
We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Nothing can prepare you for this but time will help heal and you will always have wonderful memories. Mama wanted me to please tell Mrs. Everett she is thinking of her.

Dear Ms Everett,Lindsey and Daniel,
We were so sorry to hear about Bit's illness and passing. I know you will miss him just as we miss Lewis. I am glad he was not sick too long as he enjoyed life and staying active just as Lewis did. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the months to come. We were lucky to have had Bit as our neighbor all these years.

Lindsay and Daniel,
I'm so sorry about your dad. I always liked Bit. I know first hand how hard this is and how much you will miss him, but just remember that he isn't suffering and is in a much better place. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Everett family - So sorry to hear of Bit passing. I had just found out he had been sick. It had been sometime since I had seen Bit. Like Betsy said, it doesnt seem that long ago (the IWA days)and whether on the football field, basketball court, the baseball diamond or just hanging out, when it came to Bit, seeems he always had a smile on and made what ever was going on more fun .... not a bad way to be remembered !
