Not sure what to say?

Thank you for taking me to a dance! It lifted my spirit and hope for life. And, we both knew Dr. Kondert (sp?); my absolute favorite class at USL!

I sure miss David. We were best friends since 1980. So much we didnt get to share. Think of him often.

Miss you my friend. Think of you often

My heart goes out to you his friends as he "walked through the shadow of the valey of death" for so many years...those of you who knew and loved him expressed your care in so many ways. Thank you for your expressions. I will always be blessed by my time with him- His sister Molly

David brought me to my first New Orleans Mardi Gras parade when we were in high school. He had the good sense to borrow a car, and we drove into NOLA for "Bauchuus Sunday." He was way ahead of his time at an early age.
His light shines on in every Mardi Gras moment.
Cheers David.

I will miss the drinking sessions mixed with philosophical conversation. I will also always remember the cross country trip we made, trout fishing and camping. You were a unique breed, Dave. I hope you rest in peace…

Many many fond memories of Dave's "night classes" in the basement of Bisbano's. He was a brilliant and passionate guy that left his friends way too early.

As one of the numerous Daves and Davids whose comradery was a part of the charm of "The Cellar" at Bisbano's, Dave was referred to as history Dave...I fondly recall your easy smile, the light in your eyes when you were engaged in an interesting conversation and the love you had for your beautiful dog Huey...I will miss you asking to put a Jazz Cd to play at "The Biz" and the way you and some of your buddys would joke around with each other...you were a caring, thoughtful person and shall be...

Unlike some professors, Dave didn't need a lesson plan when he taught his classes. The info was always in his head and it was so impressive to see him walk back and forth from one end of the classrom to the other as he lectured. If you wanted an engaging conversation then Dave was the person to go to. I miss him already.
