Not sure what to say?

Thank you Alex and all of David's friends who continue to keep him in their hearts. It means a lot to the family to read these stories about him. It reminds us of the beautiful, brilliant, creative, sweet person that he was. We send you all our love and hope that your lives are filled with love and joy. Bob

My condolences to the family. I knew David for about a year as a fellow student at Upper Canada College in Toronto. The last period of each day was a "reading period" during which time we were supposed to catch up on schoolwork. Very few students actually did work during this period and so he and I would speak out of reading period and go home early. We would cover for each other as we left the school and then meet up at the bus station before going our separate ways. Fun memories. It was...

Something made me think of David tonight! He was my brother Glenn's dear friend. I remember him playing air guitar in front of the mirrors of my parents house! Thinking there's a future star! He was always kind and sweet. My deepest sympathies to all of you!

Thank you all for the contributions to this book. This is up here in perpetuity so it will be a place for the whole family to go to remember the best of David and to gain solace and strength from your expressions of love. It means more to all of us than we can say.

How odd that my friend Penny Steel and I were just last week remembering classmates from our days at Deer Park. David's name flew prominently to our brains. I remember David as a very compassionate, sweet boy. A gentle soul. I was so sorry to discover that he's not with us any longer. Wish I'd stayed in touch. My deepest sympathies to his family, who clearly love and miss him ferociously, with a special mention to his little girl, who is lovely.

David's name came up tonight when discussing with my wife the time I did a brief stint with Lita Ford. This is the first I heard of his passing. I played a dozen or so gigs and David was my roommate. I remember him to be a kid at heart, up-beat and was into to his reggae! I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just learned of David's passing today, and reached out to a friend of his mother's to learn if this devastating news could possibly, please god not possibly be true. As I read here, it is. David was a great friend to me in a momentous time in my life. A great supporter. Such a young and wise boy trying to find his own way. His mantras to me: "Go where it is"; ( I did), "Why NOT you" (good point) and "Go forth and be fabulous" (still trying). I only remember a dear, sweet and fragile boy....
